Our Programs

All drivers/students ages 18 – 25 are required to present their valid learner's permit to enter the program.  This will ensure that the students have studied the driver's manual and are fully aware of all safety issues, requirements on the road, and valuable technical information prior to training behind the wheel, resulting in a higher standard of education for all students.

Additionally, all drivers/students ages 18 - 25 years are required to complete behind the wheel driving where funding was provided or a scholarship was awarded.

Scholarship Program

Basic Program:                              Behind the Wheel Driving Program

  • 2-hour evaluation followed by 2-hour intervals of driving time

  • 2-hour pretest and test (if driver is proficient to pass the driving exam at the Department of Driver Services)

Note:  Schedules are based on the availability of instructor and student driver.

The number of sessions the student will need will depend on the availability of instructors

and vehicles, value of the scholarship, proficiency of the student driver and location.

Additional funding options may be available for students with disabilities and

learning challenges from our partner organizations by application and availability only.

Driver Referral Program
